Mallorie Haines is a talented guard that is beginning to hit her stride as a standout basketball prospect in the state of North Carolina. The 5-foot-9 Sherrills Ford native enjoys passing the basketball and buys into playing both sides of the court at a high level which is a breath of fresh air in today’s game. Offensively, her quick first step and high basketball IQ makes her tough to contain as a defender. She is also a shifty ball-handler with legitimate three-point shooting range. Her work ethic and determination translates into her abilities as a strong on-ball and team defender. Haines was an integral part of  her Mill Creek Middle School basketball team this season averaging 18-ppg, next season she will be attending Bandys High School-( Catawba, NC). Moreover, she plays for the Lady Team Charlotte travel club on the 17-under classification team even though she is only 14 years old, this will help her maturation and development as a prospect.

At an early age Mallorie is very goal orientated and focused as a student-athlete maintaining a 4.0 grade-point-average to match her outstanding play on the hardwood. “My goals are to continue to maintain my 4.0 GPA and attend my private training to improve on my skills, ball-handling, defense as well as going to the gym to work on sprints and lifting weights to gain strength.” says Haines who is a student of the game and is very proud to be from the Tar Heel state receiving valuable training from ex-NBA player and North Carolina standout Jeff McInnis. Aside from sports, Mallorie has a passion for animals and aspires to be a Marine Veterinarian when her basketball career is over. Look for Mallorie Haines’ stock to be on the rise this summer as she continues to work diligently towards her goal of playing collegiate basketball.
