Harlem, New York City native Jordan Nixon is one of the top talents in the high school class of 2018 and has just recently transferred from the high academic but athletically nondescript Horace Mann School-(Bronx,NY) to the equally high academic and distinguished all-girls Mary Louis Academy-(Jamaica Estates,NY) a school with a solid girls basketball program in place lead by head coach Joann Pinnock. Nixon is a guard prospect that has improved substantially in her ability to utilize elite offensive concepts to consistently create shots for herself and the willingness to make the difficult pass and run a half court set effectively, which will help at the next level. Her tight ball handling, explosiveness and sense of pacing allows her to create separation to knock down both the mid-range and three-point jump shots with space. Fresh off of her stellar play at the USA Basketball U17 trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado Jordan Nixon will be traveling this summer with the IExcel travel club that participates in the top NCAA exposure events in the country. Scholastically, at The Mary Louis Academy-(NY) she will also get a chance to play against top notch competition participating in the SayYesToSuccess Elite High School Showcase January 14th-16th 2017 uptown in the Bronx,New York at Harry Truman High School.
