ohio state
The best move of the summer was the hiring of Mark Mitchell as an assistant coach at Ohio State. First year head coach Kevin McGuff made a power move and added coach Mitchell to the staff. Soon after the program received a huge verbal commitment from the No.1 prospect in the country Kelsey Mitchell a dynamite 5-8 guard who happens to be the newly hired assistants daughter.Although Coach Mitchell is a qualified and experienced basketball coach very seldom does a boys high school basketball head coach go on to a women’s collegiate basketball assistant coaching position. The program also managed to get verbal commitments from Alexa Hart 6-3;Makayla Waterman 6-3 and Chelsea Mitchell 5-11 also Mitchell’s daughter.
